House of Refuge Weddings
The House of Refuge Museum is an unique outdoor venue for seaside weddings and receptions.
Our
spacious patio overlooking the
picturesque coastline of the Atlantic
Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon on
Hutchinson Island can be tented or left open-air. The space can accommodate two tents, sized approximately 20 x 40 and 30 x 50. Space is adequate for
85 seated guests (for a sit down, plated dinner) or
125 standing guests (for a cocktail reception.)
Also available is a separate building known as The Quarters. Maximum capacity of this air-conditioned venue is 27 people. Oftentimes this room is used by the bridal party to prepare for the wedding. It has also been used by florists and caterers. Bathroom and small kitchen area are also included in this intimate setting overlooking both the ocean and the river.
